Our latest remodel started with a friend stating that she wanted help sourcing a green velvet couch for her place. I was ecstatic at the thought and eager to meet the challenge! The end result was something that was visually pretty stunning when installed in her space. Then, an area rug was sourced that would bring in the pink hues already present in her living room along with some floating shelves to house her decorative pieces and kids' Lego creations.
Fast forward to a year later, that friend than let me know that she was moving to a new place and wanted to create a totally modern and chic space that was completely "her". The challenge grew to touching and updating every surface of her home from the Caviar painted trim and fireplace, tile flooring, kitchen update and lighting updates in every single room.
Before the remodel, this space felt closed off, uninspired and outdated. Scraping the popcorn ceilings, updating lighting fixtures, paint, flooring and the fireplace made this space modern and oh-so-fresh! Her master bedroom was shaped by the stunning Caviar paint color that took her master to sultry and super swanky space fit for, well, a queen!
